Lingerie firm widens its distribution channels to incorporate digital retailing

Elomi lingerie has teamed up with Ideal Shopping Direct Plc, a leading digital retailer, which sells products to it’s consumers via its television shopping channels and the internet.

Elomi is offering a selection of its stylish and feminine lingerie for the fuller figure to a whole new audience via this channel. The brand provides unparalleled fit, comfort and support available in core sizes 36-48”back and D-H cup sizes.

The first show airs on Tuesday 24th March at 11pm and kicks off with Karen Forbes, Fitting Manager for Elomi, appearing as an expert speaker to introduce the brand to the audience, and highlight the product benefits, along with essential fitting advice.

Ideal Shopping Direct operates three television shopping channels: Ideal World on Freeview (22), Sky Digital (644) and Virgin Media (747). The Ideal World shopping channels are broadcast to 22.6 million households in the UK; each channel is supported by a transactional website which also streams the TV broadcast.

The television shopping market in the UK has grown dramatically in recent years as digital TV has spread. By 2012 all UK households will have access to digital TV, and hence to television shopping.
